Notice periods¶
What is the notice period at Servercow?
If not explicitly stated, a notice period of 1 month to the end of the term applies.
Warning
If you do not comply with this notice period, the affected service will be extended by another term.
A preliminary cancellation is then NOT possible!
Partial refunds¶
I have a package with a minimum contract term of at least 3 months, but I want to terminate earlier for reason X and have the remaining period refunded as a credit. Is that possible?
This is unfortunately not possible. For packages that have a term longer than 1 month, there are no pro rata refunds. Once you have decided to pay for a service in advance for a longer period, an early termination with a resulting credit for the remaining period is excluded!
You can of course schedule the cancellation for this service to prevent renewal in time.
Special terminations¶
In some cases you may, of course, be entitled to a special right of termination.
These cases include, among others:
- Sudden price increases without your knowledge.
- Technical problems or outages that affected your business.
- Data loss after incidents.
- Long unavailability of your service.
- and others...
If you believe your case qualifies for a special termination, please contact us. We are always committed to achieving a satisfactory result for all parties!
